SSNIT’s responsibility goes beyond collecting contributions. Protecting and properly managing the assets that support the pension scheme is equally important. #LabadiBeachRevival#SSNIT
NPP Director of Communications Dennis Miracles Aboagye has expressed shock at what he describes as the NDC government’s disregard for the progress Ghana’s political parties have made in strengthening the country’s democracy, following the swearing-in of the newly appointed Electoral Commission Deputy Chairpersons.

"Under my leadership as the Greater Accra Regional Organiser, as soon as they declare Bawumia the winner of the elections on December 9, the organisers, youth organisers and the team should go and take possession on December 10. I will then look for appointment letters for you,"
-Moses Abor states.
@JDMahama , please step in on this issue. 🇬🇭🙏🏾
If you don’t have a private car, you’ll understand the struggle of getting home after work, especially if you live around Taifa.
The situation with some trotro drivers at Taifa Station has become a serious problem. Instead of taking passengers straight from Circle to Taifa, some drivers now prefer doing short trips and charging passengers separately.
For example:
Circle → Caprice = GH₵10
Then Caprice → Alajo → Achimota → Mile 7 → Taifa, with passengers paying again at every stage.
By the time you get home, you could have spent GH₵20–GH₵30 on transportation for one journey. 😳
And let’s be honest, how much is the average worker even earning? How can someone spend GH₵30 just getting home from work?
The worst part is that after closing, many workers are left stranded at the roadside because drivers refuse to go all the way to Taifa.
If Ayalolo is being introduced to help solve the transportation situation, please make sure Taifa and the surrounding communities are properly covered. The transport situation in Taifa is already difficult.
Mr. President, this needs urgent attention. Ordinary workers are suffering, and something needs to be done.
If you live around Taifa or experience this problem, how much do you spend on transport going home after work? 👇🏾
Let’s hear from you and tag someone who needs to see this. 🇬🇭
For years, the Israeli government has systematically destroyed the health system in Palestine, murdering at least 1,700 Palestinian doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare workers and destroying dozens of hospitals.
Proud to join my colleagues in demanding the immediate release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya and all other arbitrarily detained healthcare workers and Palestinian prisoners.
‼️ We identified this Israeli war criminal — Ronen Kazaila, commanding officer in the Border Police, documented committing crimes against humanity in Qusra and Beit Ummar in the West Bank.
MAKE HIM FAMOUS.
Whether you like it or not, as long as you’re formally employed in this country, you pay Ssnit contributions. It’s mandatory. Once I set up my law firm and employed people, SSNIT came for me. Simple.
Now the SSNIT contributions are invested into many gainful ventures so it will grow and benefit hardworking Ghanaian citizens when they retire. Simple.
The Labadi beach hotel is one of SSNITs investment. It’s a five star hotel and gains us a lot of employment, profit, and money back into our pockets. Simple.
During the year of return, Labadi’s hotel beach front was used to temporarily expand general access to encourage patronage by regular patrons.
However those who were politically connected and exposed to how profitable the beachfront business was decided to contact the chiefs and use their influence to purportedly purchase portions of the beach front and because they paid millions and want to recoup profit they decided to overcharge regular Ghanaians. Soon Ghanaians started complaining of the expensive beach fronts.
Labadi beach hotel front is also blocked, noisy now and affects patronage. The state was losing so much money and these same politically connected people wanted to even sell the hotel for a cheap price so we permanently lose its value.
It’s a business strategy akin to “dumping”. You destroy the beach front, the hotel loses value and isn’t five star any longer. You sell the hotel for a very cheap price, you buy the hotel yourself then you clear the beaches and now it’s your private hotel beach front. Same Ghanaians who had moved to occupy the beachfront will be sacked because now it’s a private owned property. They would’ve been sacked anyways.
These politicians knew what they were doing.
To avoid this matter, Labadi beach hotel sued to clear the nuisance and trespass on their beachfront. The judgment was obtained in their favor but they couldn’t clear obviously because the politicians at the time (NPP) were backing against them.
Now that the politicians’ plot to buy Labadi’s beach hotel failed and they’ve lost power, they can’t stop the judgment from being executed.
It’s that simple.
💔 A MOTHER’S TEARS, A NATION’S OUTRAGE!
Dr. @MBawumia & @SBawumia visited the mother of lawyer Nana Baffour Awuah to offer comfort.
Seeing a mother weep over state-led intimidation breaks every woman's heart. We say NO MORE to political high-handedness! 🇬🇭

Ghanaian Blogger SIKAOFFICIAL Assaulted by Military Personnel While Covering Labadi Beach Demolition Exercise
The assault happened this morning while the blogger and other journalists were covering the ongoing demolition exercise at Labadi Beach. In a brutal attempt by the military to force bloggers and journalists away from the site, a military personnel was captured using a rod to hit SIKAOFFICIAL while shouting, “Move back.”
This forms part of other cases of military assaults recorded today involving some traders and workers who were present during the chaotic exercise.
Far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir:
"After I assume the position of Defense Minister in the next government, I will burn the body of [former Hamas leader Yahya] Sinwar and the bodies of the October 7 operatives. As Defense Minister, I will bring about a fundamental change in the doctrine."
Asking a president of another country who has kidnapped a president of a sovereign country, to come and kidnap the president of your own country is insane and honestly stupid. Surely there’s one sane person in this party?
BREAKING: NETANYAHU CLAIMS IRAN WILL HAVE A REGIME CHANGE SOON
“I want to give you the good news. Despite your silence, despite your hypocrisy, it's only a matter of time that in Iran something incredible will happen.
The power of the people will overcome the people in power!
I want you to listen to my words carefully. One day, and it may not be far away, the Iranian people will be free.
Their murderous regime will be toppled by its lies, by its corruption, by its cruelty.
This evil regime will fall, and we will all celebrate that day.”

“Ghana has to petition for US President Donald Trump to come and capture President Mahama and send him away, just as he did to Venezuela’s President Maduro, due to the recent 3.9 metric tonne cocaine bust.”

A group of Ghanaians in New York have gathered at the United Nations to protest and call for President Mahama’s removal, while demonstrating against alleged intimidation on free speech and the arrest of senior nursing officer Salomey Awiti.
Former Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Energy, Kwasi Obeng Ofosu, who is the convener of the demonstration says the protest is to draw international attention to concerns of political persecution and other issues in the country.
