@HenryForLA No the issue is that affordable housing doesn’t help the middle class. And it pushes prices up on everything else because developers need to offset cost. If you make a solid wage, there’s nothing for you.

@CarlMuhlstein @HenryForLA 250K isn’t enough for that. Take home after taxes is 12-13K a month and the monthly payment after property taxes / hoa on that is 15,800–$17,000. Affordable housing won’t solve that because she wouldn’t qualify . The issue is, for middle class people there’s basically nothing.
