I know someone who had a series of serious medical issues including sudden nosebleeds, vomiting, etc
Tests showed nothing... she was even put on psych meds for a short while.
The moment she changed jobs, she got better. It's been more than 10yrs since she had another nosebleed.
Toxic workplaces can kill you.
I believe a good solution would be a body like @lsk to have means where such employees can reach out for legal assistance to find a way out of their toxic jobs (especially where contracts are concerned).
That way, no one will feel trapped by blow-back/contractual obligations whenever their bosses turn on them.
We can have a list of legal bodies that offer such help.
