There is almost no magnetic field where the electron travels. Yet, the wavefunction still knows the flux is there.

This is the Aharonov-Bohm effect.

We numerically solved the time-dependent Schrödinger equation with the Aharonov-Bohm vector potential. From the evolving wavefunction, we calculated the probability density and the guage-corrected quantum probability current.

Just for aesthetic beauty, we mark probability current as luminous flowing filaments/threads. Probability density is marked by the bright underlying coloured field/cloud.
