A very strange thing happening in the race for San Mateo County Democratic Central Committee:

A member of the Dems United slate, backed by the moderate establishment, includes a candidate (Maureen Freschet) who likes Donald Trump and engages in alt-right conspiracy theories!

Other things of note: Freschet was a former councilmember in San Mateo, before resigning after it came to light that she no longer lived in the city.

The Dems United Slate is backed by her former colleague, Assemblymember Diane Papan.
