As students, this is literally the one thing that affects us the most. Everything else feels secondary.

English-speaking urban youth used to be openly vocal against reservation apartheid. They didn't get support from the rustic UCs mainly due to bad logistics like no social media and internet. Otherwise they might have succeeded.
As I said, people felt ashamed of defending reservation prior to 2014.
Now the English-speaking youth is selling atrocity porn literature left right and centre, media and movies are just inches away from openly asking to murder and rape UCs in the streets. Everything is being seen through caste lens in order to benefit LCs at the endless expense of UCs' life dignity and rights.
This is how far the window and narrative have shifted. Just in a decade.
This is what happened after 2014. Indian socio-political atmosphere moved towards negative slope for never to recover without ungodly reckoning.
