“Big Philanthropy™ has taken [Peter] Thiel’s recent remarks as not just decrying the Pledge, but instead as being “anti-philanthropy” in general. Craig Newmark, eponymous founder of Craigslist, has joined with BP™ in defending the Pledge,” @amphil’s David Fletcher writes in @center4civilsoc’s Philanthropy Daily.
As he describes it, Fletcher “pulled together a list of known signatories to the Pledge along with their net worth, their political affiliation, the year they signed, and their appearances in the Epstein files. Of the 250+ signatories, 125 are liberal, 56 conservative, and 50 are unknown or neutral. That translates to roughly 2.5 liberals for every conservative ….”

Simple, consistent acts of appreciation can make a big difference because the "small" things aren't really that small to your donors.
