What a week..
A viral infection hit so hard that Amrienta couldn’t even walk at one point last week, and it nearly ruled us out of the SAJCCC 2026.But she fought back with everything she had , and managed to win a silver medal,securing her place on the SA National Chess Team. 🇿🇦

Weekly duties complete 🫠, as I increase my weekly running mileage while still trying to preserve muscle mass with daily weight sessions.

Highest weekly mileage so far for this year of 131km, and my legs seem to still be in one piece (or two pieces).

Had some fun this morning at the Rolando Hillcrest 21km Half Marathon, said no one ever..But the fun was had after crossing the finish line 😁
Squeezed in a 1hr22min37seconds time for the 21km.
They don't call it 'Hill'crest for nothing 😆
