ILLEGAL TERMINATION OF INDIAN EXPATRIATE FROM ETHIOPIAN UNIVERSITY BY PRODUCING FORGED DOCUMENTS To, H.E. Ambassador Respected Sir, I wish to get your kind attention for my following Grievances I am one of the former Indian professors who has been working in Wukro Agriculture TVET, Tigray, Ethiopia in 2020-2021. We 6 Indians escaped Tigray just before the escalation and conflict in Tigray. By God's grace, with the support from UNHCR and the Indian Embassy, Ethiopia we reached the Capital safely. Meanwhile, the Vice president of Federal TVETI, Ato Haftom who has been very rude towards the Indian Professors since our joining and never said any kind words to the host. Simultaneously , he has been determined to terminate a few Indian Teachers .He produced forged documents with the support from Coordinator, Satellite TVET, Wukro, Tigray ( attachment given). Both of them produced fake student Evaluations of Indian teachers in circumstances where there were no classes and the complete shutdown of Teaching Learning due to Covid for almost a year (April 2020-jan.2021). Finally , I went to the Ethiopian Civil Services Commission by hiring an expensive lawyer. The Commission ordered us to take this case to the Senate of Federal TVET. Ato Habtom is the chairman and he was never allowed to put my case into the senate. Sir, I had given my 9 year to Ethiopia (Adama University,Arbaminch University, Atse yohannes Senior Secondary School, Mekelle and Wukro TVET) But this last tenure of Wukro gave me a lot of pain in terms of fake termination and loss of valuable items in Tigray. This letter as you are receiving because I wish to register my complaint officially. I want to tell you that Ethiopia is a very nice country for expatriates but few Ethiopians spoil the name. All the evidence is kept with my lawyer who is also a Professor of Ethiopian Civil Service University, Addis . Few of samples of pleading ,I am attaching so that you take this email seriously. However, I wish to tell you that I'm at a loss of 1M Birr because of this Unethical, inhuman Acts pounded by Kiros and his boss VP,Haftom. But I am always thankful to Ethiopia, Which is really a diverse and rich culture, to accept us as their Teachers and Professors. We and our first generation taught habesha by living in the country for a long period of time. We people left our country and family to sacrifice family life and come across to stay somewhat in different parts of the globe. Our father of nation, Mahatma Gandhi, spent 18 https://t.co/GhEej8WhPh South Africa and learned a lot and started a strategy to rotten out Britishers from India after 200 yr of Slavery. Afterwards, Many leaders were inspired by him, and gradually all African nations got freedom from Fascist forces. I wish to visit Ethiopia in May and try to come to Wukro.I want these culprits to be sent to prison with the help from the Prime minister office and Ministry of Works and Skill. Almighty God knows that during two years of serious Covid, we could not travel to India and never saw our family. Vice President Ato Habtom never allowed any Indians (from Tigray) to visit India.
