We are buzzed for #BookBuzz! This is a fantastic reading programme organised by @Booktrust to enourage young people in secondary schools to read. Needless to say our Y7s and Y8s were very pleased with their new books!🤩📚

We had a great time yesterday being visited by @anamiiqbal! Anam spoke to a group of our Y10 and gave a fantastic talk about being a writer and her new book, The Exes. Thank you so much for coming to see us and inspiring our future writers!😄📚

We are very excited to have @anamiiqbal visit us in a few weeks to talk about her debut YA novel, The Exes! The Y10 students who take part in the talk will each get a free copy of The Exes - needless to say they are very excited too!🤩📚

We were really lucky to have our friend @alexsheppard visit us yesterday to donate books to the library including her new novel, Alyssa and the Spell Garden!🪄🌿 Thank you so much Alex, we can't wait to get your new book into our students' hands!😄📚

Thank you so much to @_jo_clarke for visiting @AMSI_school today. Jo ran a workshop as part of Young Mystery Writers project run by @Literacy_Trust. Our students had a fun time learning about how write their own stories and came up with many mysterious ideas!✏️🔍Thanks Jo!📚

Thank you to the friendly staff at @pickledbooks for letting us visit today with a group of five Y7s. These Y7s have excelled in their English homework and as reward we took them out book shopping - each student got a book of their choice! Well done Y7!🎉📚
