Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) represents one of the most pressing global health crises, where bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites evolve to withstand drugs designed to kill them, rendering treatments ineffective. Driven by overuse and misuse of antibiotics in humans, animals, and agriculture,coupled with inadequate infection prevention, poor sanitation, and limited diagnostic,AMR transforms routine infections into life-threatening conditions.

We are pleased to announce that the Call for Abstracts is officially open for the 2025 IPNET Conference, a high-quality scientific event bringing together leading experts in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), One Health, and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
We collaborated with Kakamega County and the Kakamega Wellness Group and participated in a previous World Health Day commemoration. The event focused on promoting healthy lifestyles as a key strategy in disease prevention and culminated in an energizing 10-kilometer walk
