A little different fix from the usual audio related. Sega Game Gear needed a full recapp all the original capacitors had leaked everywhere. Now ready for someone else to have fun with. #gamegear#sega#repair#retrogames
Music Fidelity Elektra E 1 now fixed.
We had 22vdc in the left speaker output, not ideal. One transistor behaving like a diode was the problem.
Sounds superb.
Shame they wouldn’t let me have the schematics , but i fixed it without and learned some stuff too.

Needed to batch convert many sound designer 2 files from way way back.
Didn’t have anything to do it , discovered I actually did. I found Droplet on my studio machine (Mac OS 10.7) and it did the job quick. No idea what Droplet is still 😂😂
Arrggh , this Nad C372 is causing me trouble , practically rebuilt the thing , just turned on once more , all was well , amperage reading low on the mains side , but then the willow the wisp smoke once more !! However no movement on the ammeter , internal fuse held …. hmmmm
I can’t quite believe it but I have just revived a HP printer doing the old , new cartridges but i'm not gonna print game. soaked cart in water for a while then did many cleaning cycles and slowly it started printing correctly again.
