A surge of violent extremism is sweeping across sub-Saharan Africa, affecting women, men, girls and boys in different ways.
Our IGAD @_ICEPCVE partners recently visited Sweden and @FBAfolke to share experiences on how to prevent and counter extremism, from a gender perspective.

The training is part of a 10 million SEK pilot project between 🇸🇪 and @_ICEPCVE. It aims to amplify women's voices and their contribution in preventing & countering violent extremism in east Africa and the Horn of #Africa.
