The urban farmers resilience training is on going, the programme will focus to reach out to 1050 individuals to participate in the trainings basing on the enterprises selected by the those farmer groups in the city.

Today had been blessed day for our team and the youths we have been empowering for a period of three months in poultry and hairdressing to be passed out by the city clerk and the lord mayor Arua city and the technical implementing partner ACAV under SUIDAC Project.
The team managed to do volunerability assessment of 25 groups, out of 35 groups, consisting of 30 members at individual level for them to be trained on the best agronomic practices regarding urban farming (Backyard) in Arua city under the SUIDAC Project that is focusing on DACs.
Participating with leaders in issues related to PSEA and community development is a motivating factor for refugee led organisation like RIAD within the city, thanks to the authorities for ensuring that participants are protected by all means during and after the project implementation.
The week ended well and will start with series of activities from Omugo Zone Imvepi settlement Omugo host, Ofua zone and the spirit is the same, participation, collaboration and team work with those we work with.
