The concept of purely "healthy" or "natural" food has become increasingly rare. Soil quality has degraded, and commercial greed frequently overrides safety standards:

Farmers and traders often treat grains with toxic chemicals like Sniper (ddvp) to prevent pest infestations and avoid financial loss.

Cassava is sometimes fermented using household bleach to shorten processing time and eliminate the need for frequent water changes.

Palm oil and ground pepper are frequently adulterated with carcinogens like Sudan dye to achieve a vibrant red appearance. Similarly, turmeric is often mixed with synthetic dyes and contaminated with lead to enhance its color.

Street snacks and chips are sometimes fried with melted plastics mixed into the oil to achieve an unnaturally crispy texture.

Livestock and poultry are frequently injected with growth hormones, while fruits are sprayed heavily with pesticides, or forced to ripen artificially using calcium carbide.

Beyond what we eat, our everyday habits and environments quietly compound the damage:

Household air fresheners are loaded with volatile organic compounds (VOCs), while bottled and sachet water left exposed to direct sunlight leaches microplastics and chemical phthalates into what we drink.

The widespread overconsumption of over-the-counter painkillers (NSAIDs) heavily strains kidney function over time.

Highly processed foods promote systemic insulin resistance, while chronic, unmanaged stress remains a constant baseline for many.

Long working hours leave little room for true physical recovery. When we do eat, we often default to convenient options that end up harming our bodies.

The last time I was in Nigeria, I went to a club in Wuse 2 with my friends, I ordered for 2 bottles of Martel costing me around 250k. I took a dry sip and it didn't taste like Martel that I am used to.

I came to Katsina on the same day the Nigerian Army rescued the wife of Rtd. Rabe. I've been staying at Hillside Hotel since then.
For anyone familiar with the hotel, you know that almost every aircraft, commercial or military heading south passes directly overhead.
For the past one week, I’ve been seeing multiple sorties of TB-2 drones and TAI ATAK helicopters going in and out regularly. Right at Kastina Steel Rolling Mill you will surely see columns of military vehicles going and coming back. This clearly indicates a sustained major military operation is ongoing around the Musawa-Matazu axis. People i have spoken with said they haven’t seen this level of intensity for a long time.

1: There is a body called “National Economic Council” is a statutory body established by the provisions of the 1999 constitution as amended, specifically in Section 153 (1) and paragraphs 18 &19 of Part1 of the Third Schedule.

2: NEC members met and unanimously approved that their states allocation should be DEDUCTED to fund emergency National Security Fund.

3: @abati1990 must have forgotten that the administration of President Jonathan made several deductions from the FAAC without even consulting NEC members.

-(a): Commissioners were always quarreling during FAAC meetings under GEJ then.

4: Fast Forward to FG not Tinubu’s govt, the Govs and the commissioners were consulted and agreed to have their funds DEDUCTED.

-(a): what was deducted na WINDFALL oooo, it means extra revenues from USA-Iran war.

5: NEC is about cooperation with FG as demonstrated in the state police policy.

Theme: The Absolute Oneness of Allāh and the Innocence of Prophet ʿĪsā (Jesus)

{وَإِذۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ یَـٰعِیسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ ءَأَنتَ قُلۡتَ لِلنَّاسِ ٱتَّخِذُونِی وَأُمِّیَ إِلَـٰهَیۡنِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ سُبۡحَـٰنَكَ مَا یَكُونُ لِیۤ أَنۡ أَقُولَ مَا لَیۡسَ لِی بِحَقٍّۚ إِن كُنتُ قُلۡتُهُۥ فَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَهُۥۚ تَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی نَفۡسِی وَلَاۤ أَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی نَفۡسِكَۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلَّـٰمُ ٱلۡغُیُوبِ}

"And [beware the Day] when Allāh will say, O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allāh?' He will say, Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen".

LESSONS:
1. True prophets never call people to worship themselves. Prophet ʿĪsā will clearly deny ever asking people to take him or his mother as deities.

2. All worship belongs to Allāh alone. No prophet, saint, angel, or righteous person deserves any share of worship.

3. Allāh knows the hidden and the open. Nothing can be concealed from Him, whether spoken publicly or hidden in the heart.

4. Humility before Allāh is the mark of true servanthood. Prophet ʿĪsā’s response begins with glorifying Allāh and declaring His perfection.

5. Religious exaggeration can lead to misguidance. Loving the righteous must never become worshipping them.

O Allāh, keep our hearts firm upon Tawḥīd. Protect us from shirk, exaggeration, and misguidance. Make us among those who worship You sincerely and follow Your prophets with truth. Āmīn.
