One thing I've noticed:
A coffee that goes from $4 to $7 rarely goes back to $4.
Rent that rises from $1,000 to $1,500 rarely goes back to $1,000
Inflation becomes permanent the moment everyone accepts the new price.
So workers ask for better pay to keep up.
Then they're told they're hurting the economy.
The economy for who?
As someone who always used to be excited for new tech, I am not interested anymore. Everything has gotten so greedy, addictive, expensive and exclusive. They don't solve problems, they create them, and then try to sell you the solution. We're in literal technology hell.
I went without hair, waxing, nails, dentist, doctor, coffee, hanging out, taking a vacation or buying an outfit all 2025 and you know how much money I saved? NONE.
Slowly realizing the secret to hacking adulthood is always having something planned that you can look forward to. That solo date, trip out of town, spa day or pottery class will help keep your head above water
I’m surprised ppl are attempting to hold Jasmine accountable today because when I said it yesterday her 2010 born stans were calling me a “bird for a white man”🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

“How did we go from paper straws to data centres?”
no one listened to the environmentalists who said unchecked corporate pollution was the bigger issue.
Whenever I catch myself not reading things completely, I remember anti-intellectualism is on the rise, literacy is in decline, and I don’t want to be a VICTIM!
You mean to tell me, some of y’all really believe the same government officials with known ties to Jeffrey Epstein type activities, are creating laws for social media to protect children? You really believe that?
What is some of the girls’ issue? Why just leave Angelista delusional to not tell her anything? And Mica HELLO? Can you say something or? She’s not said ANYTHING to her about Simba this whole time
#loveisland#loveislanduk
I will say again, I think Angelista should go home for her own sake. None of these people in the villa have her interests at heart and the way they constantly put her feelings to the side like she’s not a human. Get her home #loveislanduk#loveisland
that’s the question isn’t it. what WILL she do? there are no youth clubs for her to attend. food, cinema tickets, any sort of third space activity is all too expensive. their parents are underpaid, saturday jobs don’t exist any more, children have truly been abandoned by the govt
The UK economy basically works like this:
Get paid £2,000.
Give £900 to a landlord. Give £200 to the council. Give £150 to energy companies. Give £300 to supermarkets. Give £300 to car insurance and fuel.
Spend the rest surviving until next payday.
Then get lectured by someone who bought their house for £37,000 in 1988 about how you need to stop buying coffees and cancel subscriptions.
Nobody wants a city on Mars. Nobody wants AI in every app. Nobody wants a robot butler. Nobody wants data centers everywhere. Nobody wants flying cars or humanoid robots. We want clean water, we want bees to survive, and we want a habitable planet.
“We can’t raise the minimum wage, because then the price of everything will go up.”
Bro, they didn’t raise the minimum wage. The price of everything still skyrocketed.
