@2019SWO332 @swo332 Religion also played a role in Marsha's life. The Catholic church is against the LQBTQ community. Marsha's strong connection to her higher power was why she was so giving. "We are all brothers and sisters" #payitnomind

@JKangay @2019SWO332 I totally agree with you!! She also followed a religion that frowns upon LGBTQ in general. She stated "her god never laughs at her and he takes her seriously". #swo332 #payitnomind

[Amy235c @amy235c]

@swo332 intersectional oppression played a role in Marsha's life with how the police treated her. "Police treated me like I was a murderer" Marsha P. Johnson. #payitnomind

@swo332 themes from the film that resonate is them trying to ban trans from the parade, the government also tries to ban or silence people who do not fit their agenda...people from the LGBTQ community, brown people, and religions other than Christianity to name a few #payitnomind

[Amy235c @amy235c]

[Amy235c @amy235c]

Buttigieg was the only one so far who did not mention Trump. I agree with his statement "Imagine if we could sustain unity" #Swo332
