It was a pleasure to join the Durga Temple of Westchester in celebration of the festival of Navratri, a dance festival dedicated to Durga, the feminine divine. We danced the night away with the traditional garba dance, celebrating the divine energy of Devi within all people.
Our lives have been forever changed by the tragedy of October 7, 2023. This week at Temple Israel Center of White Plains, we came together to grieve for those who are no longer with us and yearn for the safe return of those still held in captivity.
