The horse failed to clear the final fence, its hindquarters crashing to the ground, sustaining a pelvic injury, yet it was ridden on to the finish.

He won but it cost him his life.

This horse broke his back on the last jump, jockey and animal abuser Paul Townend then forced and whipped the horse over the finish with a BROKEN BACK to finish 1st. The horse was killed. Should have been the jockey. #Aintree #horseracing #RIP #Golddancer

What must they be teaching in Agri college for these individuals to do what they did. If you can't look into an animals eyes and see a sentient being looking back, how dark you must have become. Desensitised and viewing animals as just commodities and play things.
