won't get into it much more but i'll just say that any issues of community access are not the fault of individual library workers and workers issues of burnout and stress are not the fault of community/our patrons. it's always the admin/city/State!

it's really hard working in a public library in this particular stage of the pandemic. I wish there were more/better public spaces outside the library to fulfill peoples needs and I wish library workers (all workers tbh) could all get a million percent raise right now!! (5/5)

I'm glad this kind of thing makes ppl appreciate libraries' roles in communities but it also greatly increases the assumptions ppl have about what these roles are without then adequately compensating the workers for said work 4/
