While others were nestled in beds, dreaming of resolutions, this remarkable group was out in the cold, rainy and windy morning, embodying their motto: Love for All, Hatred for None.
As the first light of the new year stretched across the horizon, a group of volunteers from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) in Epsom began their day armed not with party hats or confetti, but with gloves, litter picking sticks, and determination
18 members of Epsom & Ewell U3A were shown the Baitul Futuh Mosque and exhibition area by our local Imam @FarukhAhmed90 where they were given an introduction to the translations of the Holy Qur’an.
The group also had an opportunity to hear the “Adhan” (the Muslim call to prayer”
The second group of 20 members of Epsom & Ewell @u3a_UK visited the Baitul Futuh Mosque.
This time host @FarukhAhmed90 showed the afternoon prayers to the group. Many questions were answered and an all round good experience of what happens in a mosque.
By the grace of Allah, AMYA Epsom invited 20 members of @u3a_UK Epsom & Ewell, hosted by Imam @FarukhAhmed90 with a detailed tour of the Baitul Futuh Mosque, briefing the history of the complex and an intro to Ahmadiyya. Ending with a video presentation, Q&A and refreshments.
Our Local director of outreach @FarukhAhmed90 hosted Sarah Coote, Cassey and Peter Foulkes at the UK’s largest Mosque, where they had a chance to tour the complex and learn about the teachings of Islam.
Everyone found our motto of Love for all very intriguing.

Great to host Phillip Baker and Susan Baker at the Baitul Futuh Mosque where they had a chance to tour the complex and learn about the teachings of Islam in general and the Ahmadiyya beliefs and ended with an informative Q&A over some refreshments.
