@jdahall We displayed birthday cards up on the piano. The birthday cards were seemingly disappearing - we got the screw driver out and opened up the piano and found my toddler had been posting the cards into the piano π₯΄
@clair_cains@MartinSLewis It was a long time ago I went to uni and I had a gap year between finishing law school and starting my training as a solicitor and I got so much more out of it. I had a job at the end of it to go to and I had more money. Gap year post degree are massively underrated.
@JohnHyde1982 My dad - he's a retired pilot and very particular about transport safety he used to nag us to read the safety notices on just about every mode of transport and study the fire escape route in hotels.

Velcro swaddle bag. I thought I was being clever buying very expensive muslins to swaddle and unless you can wrap them in those in 1 secs like the midwives, baby will not like those!
@MelissaKahn7 So many but in the lense of parenting:
1. That children don't/shouldn't have bodily autonomy.
2. Behaviours that support the notion that children should be "seen not heard" and in public spaces that aren't playgrounds are pretty much held to behavioral standards of adults.

@clhubes My husband made up fake baby products that didn't exist whilst we were in those newborn trenches and all of them sounded like amazing things that I immediately needed but also didn't actually exist π
