We have small children at home that we need to get home for.

@ThatRosaryGirl We have always had a packed restaurant ready bag for our kids. Coloring Play-Doh, small toys like hotwheels or mini character figurines., search and find books etc

@ThatRosaryGirl @loobah_l We have always had a small restaurant ready backpack ready to go for our kids. Coloring. Play-Doh. A few small construction vehicles. Mini princess figurines, etc.. We swap out items as the kids get older, but all are quiet activities that can be done at a table.

@gator_gum We have “fresh Friday” at our small rural school, where our kids get fresh fruits and veggies (sometimes eggs or cheese) for second snack every Friday. I think it’s paid for through some sort of grant program

@MelissaLMRogers We have a partially implemented version of the $10 daycare. Our daycare bill went from $1200 a month to $425 a month. Thank goodness because with the increase of price of everything else, I don’t know how we would afford it.
