This past Sunday, 22 September, our crowdfunded mobile #Library left for Ukraine. Our two volunteer drivers, Jon and Adrian, were very excited to get going! We wish them a smooth journey to the Polish border where the vehicle will be passed over to our Ukrainian partners.

Unstaffed or volunteer-run #libraries are no different to conductorless trains or stations with no ticket office. It places profit before people and takes support away from the people that need it most.

Spend a day with a Library Worker helping people with little or no digital skills/access apply for jobs, fill in government forms etc.
We are more crucial in the digital age.
