Without a written opinion or statement on the record from Judge Gildea explaining how he came into possession of the tweet he referenced at the emergency hearing, are you confident in the administration of justice in Karen Read’s wrongful death case?
On this day, 27 years ago, we chased what is well-known as the strongest #tornado in History.
This shows the F5 tornado near peak intensity, just after devastating the community of Bridge Creek, Oklahoma.
Aa freshman meteorology students at OU, we stupidly abandoned our Geo Tracker and took shelter under an overpass. Research was published that overpasses can accelerate the tornadic wind and be even more dangerous.
We then saw the terrible devastation in Moore, Oklahoma with horses wandering down the highway and people emerging from their destroyed homes. Over 50 people lost their lives from the May 3, 1999 tornado outbreak.
There was another massive violent tornado with a supercell to the north near Mulhall, Oklahoma that peaked after sunset.
The tornado outbreak was still going when I woke up for class the next morning at 7 am.
This is a day that Oklahomans will never forget. Enjoy the nice weather this May 3,
Parking under a highway overpass during a tornado is extremely dangerous. The structure funnels winds like a tunnel, accelerating them by 40-60+ mph and turning debris into deadly missiles. Vehicles can be lifted or thrown, and the bridge itself may fail. NOAA and FEMA warn it's among the worst spots—far riskier than open ground. Instead, get to a low ditch or sturdy shelter. Stay safe!
@DerrickEvans4WV I used to play music down there and I talked so many people out of violence like this but the cops told me not to come back, even though I was always there to spread music and peace to my community. It’s a shame this happened but doesn’t surprise me one bit, sadly. ✌🏽
@aburkhartlaw I need one of these for my babies. I did build them a cat tree though and all three are sleeping on it now. From top to bottom: Gwendolyn, Georgia, and Dahlia.

The state of Georgia versus Mr. Faust is the same case as the one you can read about in the novel To Kill A Mockingbird. Let me make this crystal clear: if you support the state in this case, you support the same kind of racism found in that novel, except this isn’t fiction.
Why did Judge Lisa Lott skip reading these parts of the case law? The issue is redactions of an interview between Faust and GBI where statements may link the defendant to prior criminal offenses or suspicions of same.
Thanks @StarowNiklas for sending the case - Scales v. State Annotate this Case 712 S.E.2d 555 (2011) 310 Ga. App. 48 https://t.co/qS6n482pob
Melanie Little’s reaction to Ahmad Crews brilliant closing argument in the GA v EDRICK FAUST.
“This is a trial everyone needs to see”
“A masterclass closing”
Without even putting on a defense, it’s highly probably Faust will see an acquittal (imo).
@aburkhartlaw It was my birthday a few days ago (turned 46) and I gave up all presents and trips out to eat to rescue three cats: the black & white cats are 9 months old and the tortie is 4 years old with a history of spinal injury. I love all three of them so much!!!
I adopted three kitties from our local cat cafe and they are such sweet kitties! Dahlia is the tortie, Gia (short for Georgia) is the one with the smaller amount of white, and Gwen (short for Gwendolyn) is her sister with more white on her. I love them all so much!!!
