As a brand new RA in 2017, I put in a work order to have some poison ivy removed from our building. 2.25 years later (1.5 years post-graduation), they removed it, sending me this email today. What a legacy.

So I'm living in Australia, right? I helped out with a sports carnival last week and had an earnest teen ask me what my accent is. When I said American, only been here a few weeks, he encouragingly responded, "Well, you're doing great with the English!"

@metricforbees My church during COVID invited members to share needs with the elders and helped at least several people with rent and other necessities in the hard times. We have a benevolence fund specifically for the purpose
