@zoobomax @ArclightSimon @sesamestreet My education system taught me that promoting diversity and acceptance in children’s programming is educational, not threatening. Empathy and tolerance are signs of intelligence - while racism, whether overt or subtle, is not.

@NoLieWithBTC @AnnieTodd96 Teachers can’t write off business expenses thanks to GOP 2018 tax cuts. $250 before taxes is still allowed but most teachers pay $750 out of pocket for classrooms. Some states allow it but Fed needs to. Salaries are already low. We need to do better for our kids & their teachers.

Teaching unedited actual history (not role-play which reinforces racism & is rare)doesn’t traumatize; it teaches empathy & tolerance &motivates to be better than our ancestors. My kids abhor racism.
