A lot of NHS staff consider care home nursing to be an inferior profession. Some care home nurses I know are the best in the profession, and those they care for the most complex. Collaborative change required here @PeetAnita https://t.co/o0kNYBbmS1
Three years on, we remember the 72 people who tragically passed away in the Grenfell Tower fire, the many people injured and all who were affected by the disaster, including all the various emergency services 💔 #GrenfellTower#GrenfellNeverAgain
@JegedeTina@TheQNI@SarahHa88622902 Thanks for all you do . I’ve worked in the acute sector my whole career. My mum is now in a care home and the skills of those carers and nurses really humbles me . Their knowledge and competence with long term conditions is not acknowledged enough within the profession 🤩👏🏻
The frontline in nursing always meant to me , patient facing , direct care . It was never about the “frontline” of a battle against anything . Clapped super loud for all my colleagues @LeedsHospitals . They’re doing amazing ❤️
👏🏻 for all the “informal carers” who care unpaid and often unrecognised for a dependant, partner , parent , family member or friend and not forgetting the parents of children with additional needs . This must be so tough for you without your usual support and way of coping❤️
@HC_One We did an extra loud clap last night for all the staff at Aspen Court, Derby who are caring for my precious mum ! They are doing a great job . We miss mum so much xxx
@DHSCgovuk@NHSEngland@NHSuk@mhclg@10DowningStreet @PHE_uk Please get these images regularly on the TV / radio / everytime someone opens Facebook / Instagram etc. It can’t be difficult . All I’m seeing is honest heartfelt posts from frontline staff literally begging people to socially distance properly . It’s not up to them they’re busy
NHS cleaning staff rarely receive any praise
But they do an incredibly important job and will help save many lives over the coming weeks, so please spare a RT for all of them
