Pregnant women have an awful lot expected of them, perhaps we could avoid adding further pressure by not using words like “failed”😓 Language is such a powerful thing.

Thousands of pregnant women in the Midlands failed to get the flu jab last year, leaving themselves and their babies vulnerable.

Our Regional Chief Midwife said: “Midwives and maternity staff can play their part by encouraging pregnant women to get their flu jab.” #GetYourFluJab
