@RCN_NI. I am shocked beyond words visited the RVH ED to speak to members.Its like a battle zone, patients everywhere. Staff distraught trying to care for them. They say it is continuous with no respite. We have derogated the dept from strike as not enough nurses. Heartbreaking

When you come to the emergency department and the nurse does the first assessment of you, you go on our tracking board. I can see at a glance the reason you’re there, your vital signs, and any labs/imaging that’s been started.
