@JennaBushHager vocal rest. It's inflammation. If you keep talking you can develop vocal cord nodules and damage. No whispering either. If you have any acid reflux take something like pepcid. Refluxed acid can worsen/cause laryngitis. So can post nasal drip-try flonase for that. -Dr. Amy
@realDonaldTrump The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents the government from making laws that abridge the freedom of speech. It regulates YOU, not a pvt company.
@michaeltodd@SenSchumer@SpeakerPelosi I’m in Sampson but all my colleagues say the same. Unc and duke started making their own- but private docs and rural have no access and can’t find to purchase
@michaeltodd@SenSchumer@SpeakerPelosi Many! Supplies are limited so we are only allowed to test people with exposure to known positive contact. If you can’t test any one you can’t prove exposure. Colleagues all over NC saying the same.
@physicianwomen@SpeakerPelosi@realDonaldTrump Where are the Covid test supplies!? My Sampson county NC has 30 kits for 60,000 people. Doesn’t matter how many labs agree to test if we don’t have the swabs and tubes!
@HodaAndJenna there’s a difference between chronic social isolation and being extra cautious and staying home more for a couple weeks to stop viral spread. Don’t try to equate the 2.
@okanesc@cspan@SpeakerPelosi If that was the most disrespectful thing you’ve seen, you don’t follow news coverage of Trump grabbing pussies, mocking reporters, suggesting his mob beat up reporters etc.
@ECMcLaughlin family med doctor here. This is a familiar story. Addition-the loss of the small town pharmacies is also a blow to quality care. The small private owned pharmacies work with us & patients much better to do what is needed. They too are a casualty of the healthcare wars.
