‘The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act’ opened with $35.4 MILLION globally in its debut weekend.

The film was the highest-grossing animated movie worldwide this weekend and now holds the biggest opening weekend ever for an independent animated film.

@jan_murray There’s something immensely comforting about procedurals- the structure is reassuring. I rewatched House twice in the last five years. It’s hilarious, dark and profound as well as having a clear structure. Also they didn’t take years to release a season like they do now.

TADC had one of the most charming theater experiences, everyone was nice, a good majority of people dressed up either in cosplay or nice clothes, people bringing their plushes, it was so cute

@DireWolfBoy My daughter wanted to go straight home and wouldn’t talk to anyone for about 2 hours. I went in later to see if she was ok and she gave me a full rundown on her emotions about it ( no spoilers) but we were both not wanting to accept what happened. We were so sad.

@DaiTigris @emsfjr @kuntarinabluu @Le_Unorthodox lol I asked the tv producer on insta if you could read that a particular character was anti-semitic ( a popular fan theory in a sub reddit) and they said no. When I produced the screenshot there was a group that was so mad they ran me out of that sub. Good riddance.

I’m just acknowledging that post modern consumers of stories develop their head canons. In one of my ficdoms I was hated on when I contested a stupid reading.

@lazyhime24 I’ve met guys like this, they are vulnerable and then as soon as you call them out/comment on their behaviour they shame spiral. Nothing you say or do can make them feel safe enough to be real and they blame you for being the one to see behind their walls. It was way too real
