I never want a man to settle for me. Go find your dream woman. And if you can’t find her, don’t use me to fill the gap. I want mine clingy, passionate, reassuring, unapproachable, God fearing, and locked in on me only.
It really hurts when you genuinely want to be w/ somebody, when your heart is fully in it, but no matter how hard you try or how much you care, they just can’t get it right. You’re there, showing up, putting in the effort, and hoping for the same in return—but somehow, it never lines up.
It’s frustrating, exhausting, and honestly heartbreaking. You start questioning yourself, replaying moments in your head, wondering if you missed something, did too much, or if it’s just them. And the worst part is knowing that it’s not about lack of love on your side—it’s about a mismatch in effort, understanding, or maturity on theirs.
You want to be patient, you want to make it work, but love isn’t supposed to feel like a constant struggle or a test you keep failing together. And realizing that someone you care about can’t meet you where you are—it stings.
The hardest part is loving someone fully, wanting it to work, and still having to accept that sometimes, love isn’t enough. That’s when you learn that wanting someone and being with someone who’s capable of loving you the way you need—that’s two very different things.
I heard someone say, "no contact for you is just a regular day for them" and I never looked back. Stop obsessing over people who aren't losing any sleep over you.
