@yanggenes @AbelPagaling @SpokespersonCHN No, a true patriot will never allow anybody to divide the territory of his/her motherland. It had nothing to do with the government in charge.
@yanggenes @AbelPagaling @SpokespersonCHN Your abhorrence of China and CCP has already make you blind. Do not want to have a debate with you as it’s just a waste of time for both sides.
@MichaelYan23 @AbelPagaling @SpokespersonCHN Anyway I will never call someone friend if he/she supports me only because I pay the bill. I’d rather choose the poorer friends who’s willing to share my bill. ;)
@MichaelYan23 @AbelPagaling @SpokespersonCHN Economy does not look good in many western countries either. It’s a downgoing period for the globe. I do not think Taiwan people will have any real benefits from those western countries who claim to support their democracy just by mouth.
@yanggenes @AbelPagaling @SpokespersonCHN Of course it’s amendable. It happens in every country when the law needs to fit the reality better. Why only China gets to blame. It’s purely bias.
@Kodiak82240392 @AbelPagaling @SpokespersonCHN We may have spaces to improve but I fully disagree that China is ruled by dictatorship. It respects her people in her way. We do not need to worry about gun shots. Do not need to worry about drug and alcohol abuse especially in youngsters. Everything has their two sides.
@Kodiak82240392 @AbelPagaling @SpokespersonCHN As a citizen in China, I have to tell you that we have rule of law and human rights. Many Chinese people are not big fan of voting as we think it’s time consuming and does not always lead to the result best for everyone.
@MichaelYan23 @AbelPagaling @SpokespersonCHN GDP is just a number. There might be poor places in China but Taiwan people can definitely be wealthier than before.
@MichaelYan23 @AbelPagaling @SpokespersonCHN For Taiwan people, they will have more opportunities to do business with China mainland, developing their tourism. They’ll also be protected by PLA and save a lot of money purchasing weapons from US.
@AbelPagaling @SpokespersonCHN The issue in HK is not caused by the leadership of CCP. Actually without the financial support from China mainland, HK could have encountered financial crisis decades ago
@AbelPagaling @SpokespersonCHN Actually it’s just the opposite. Taiwan will get ahead quicker when it’s reunited with China mainland. It’s nothing to do with democracy. If one has to run the country the same way as some western countries in order to be called democratic, it’s a violation of democracy itself.
@KJS_Brainstorm @SpokespersonCHN It’s not convenient to my point just what’s relevant. This is historical issue left after China’s War of Liberation. It’s actually admitted by Taiwan people themselves. They just feel they’re the legal government for China instead of CCP.
@KJS_Brainstorm @SpokespersonCHN No need to focus on these specifics. Generally speaking, they need to abide their law to make the voting process acceptable. The world is diverse and you need to respect the different ways people rule their own country. Both UK and China can have their own way.
