my friday highlight: finding out that my hackathon project won while waiting in line at the box office to get olivia deanโs sold-out concert tickets tonight ๐ซถ๐ป๐ฅน
Also not me going all out for the group demo. Decided to lean in on the match maker vibess (very much influenced by the Drama stylistically) โฅ๏ธ๐ง๐ปโ๐ฉฐ
Yayyy had so much fun at AI week playing with @claudeai code!
Another highlight was definitely making it to top 3 of peopleโs choice award for my demo Pixelmatch, a tool that looks into visual nits between Figma frame and eng implementation in a screenshot ๐๐คโ๏ธ
256 demos submitted for AI week at Amplitude.
More than 10x the impact of a normal week.
Need to continue and not go back to the old way of working. EPD, GTM, G&A will be radically different by the end of the quarter.
The old Amplitude is dead, new AI organization rises.
@stephenhaney@willdjthrill@paper Just checked Recents โ itโs my own files still.
Also, Paper doesnโt really work if Iโm using Claude code desktop app so using Cursor now.
Support channel would be great โ I believe the team have a lot more to share as weโre trying things out! cc @twanlass
@stephenhaney@willdjthrill@paper Oh I guess because Iโm on a free plan so Iโm the only person in my Team in Paper. The default tab for desktop app is Files (see screenshot).
Context: The team is still trying out Paper to decide if weโre buying. Hope this helps!
@stephenhaney@willdjthrill@paper Iโd like recent files including ones shared with me or multi-tabs on desktop app.
Didnโt know these features were such a big deal until @willdjthrill shared a file with me. Had to bookmark it in a browser or kept losing it from the desktop app when copying things between files.
It takes a village to make this work. Iโm so glad that as a designer at Amplitude, shipping design nit fix to prod myself using Cursor/Claude is part of my onboarding checklist โจ๐ค
For the love of god, let your designers ship to prod. Thereโs no reason to be so precious about your codebase when we all know claude is writing it anyways.
We're excited to introduce the first fully automated AI Analyst: Amplitude Global Agent
Global Agent can do anything a human can do in Amplitude. You can go from creating a cohort to deploying a guide in a few minutes.
Global Agent is also available via our new @SlackHQ MCP.
BIG DAY at Amplitude โจ
Been dogfooding the Global Agent since I joined โ Itโs so good that I havenโt manually made charts myself because the AI agents just do it for me ๐ค
Al has collapsed the time it takes to ship a feature. Now it's all about shipping the right thing. It's just as hard as it ever was.
As coding gets automated, agentic analytics becomes the bottleneck. Teams that win will build within context rich environments that capture user behavior and customer feedback, making that data accessible to both builders and agents.
Today @Amplitude_HQ is launching our Al Analytics Platform with Agents and MCP. Autonomous analytics that helps builders and coding agents ship products that their customers actually want.
Just as our partner @claudeai has reinvented software, Amplitude is reinventing analytics for the Al age.
We have achieved 76% accuracy for complex production grade queries and agentic usage has grown 10x in 3 months.
Don't just build fast, build what's right.
Try it for free, today.
Anyone here also sings out loud when working from home?
I was supposed to meet with PM Y for a 1:1. I hopped on the Zoom call with @meetgranola running in the background but only to find out later that he couldnโt make it.
As it turned out, my Granola notes suggested that I was practicing singing with my PM and that I was even giving him instructions on how to sing certain parts from time to time (Obviously it was me trying to practice how to sound pitch perfect like Olivia).
