Wishing all the best to Wiggs who did indeed save basketball, brought lots of smiles and delivered one of the most epic speeches of all time. Thankful to have been witness to it all! #thunderup
Hartenstein:
"When Sam Presti came to Eugene, Oregon, that was the first thing he said - 'I can't promise you minutes, I can't promise your role, but I can promise you a culture... What I saw from afar is exactly how it is, and they make it so easy for you to come to work and just focus on basketball."
I’ve shared the shorter version on other platforms but sharing the entire speech here because it’s worth saving in the timeline. What wise words @ericchurch
Clay Bennett: “I truly think about every single citizen who woke up on that Tuesday and planned to go vote, and went and voted yes to support this project. This is your day. This is your building. We are forever grateful for the support of our citizens.”
Congratulations to @ChetHolmgren on his first NBA All Star selection!
He will represent Oklahoma City with our MVP @shaiglalex (making his fourth All Star appearance) at the All Star Game in two weeks…
Congratulations to Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for being named Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year! This honor has been bestowed annually since 1954, and Shai is the first Oklahoman to receive it as the named recipient.
This is also @shaiglalex’s first print @SInow cover and OKC’s first in seven years. (This feat has gotten more difficult since the magazine became a monthly. Of course, OKC has enjoyed digital covers, including one on our Olympic journey just two weeks ago.)

Gameday. Christmas Day.
The NBA first played on Christmas Day in 1947. Ever since, Christmas Day NBA games have been an American tradition and an honor for the chosen teams.
Oklahoma City played on Christmas Day every year between 2010 and 2018, but not since, until today. The Thunder are 6-3 overall on Christmas Day. OKC has hosted the Christmas Day game in 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2017, and are 4-1 in those home games.

NEW: The Thunder are built upon a tragedy that seared their city 30 years ago. When Sam Presti arrived in 2008, he was so inspired by the recovery that he built his team in its image, forging bonds with those whose lives forever changed on April 19, 1995. https://t.co/ehRcWtefAk
Wisdom. Love when Scottie processes out loud and lets us in on the inevitable reality that few warn about when you have a “big” dream in your youth. Then what?
Undone over this flash flood tragedy at Camp Mystic girls camp in the Texas hill country. Please pray with me for these beloved children, the families of those confirmed lost and traumatized kids & camp workers. Praying with all my heart for miraculous rescues to still be ahead.
