Readers, lovers of books-as-objects, those unafraid or at least curious to uproot whiteness and familial ties to land: trust me. Follow this link and contribute to receive a reprint of JD Pluecker's The Unsettlements: Dad. 👀👀 next iteration @artpace opening in November ❤
Hoping to be able to do this reprint of The Unsettlements: Dad. Almost halfway to the goal of $1800 to pay for printing 250 more copies. Making a space in the world for this little hand-drawn poetry history familial undisciplinary book is a wild ride. https://t.co/GKc6MWMPru

I was talking with a friend and collaborator today about our creative work, the time we can allocate for it (despite/bc it's our day job!), and how socials and the web encourage individualized solo authored self-promotion. Will add a section to my website linking to co-thinkers

In so many private professional conversations lately I am struck by the sheer amount of labor womxn undertake to educate or redirect or sidestep misbehaving violent &/or willfully misread men in prominent positions. Art world, academic world. The wasted energy.
