A1: My favorite childhood holiday memory was on Christmas morning every year. My sister and I would run to our parents bed, read the Christmas story together, and then open our stockings. It was a great connection with family and important way to start the day. #FoodTravelChat
@Kahoot Using resizing pictures on something like PowerPoint to talk about scale ratios! Talked to the students about why pictures end up warped if we resize them incorrectly
@MrKaiser2592 A5: I think I will use twitter to find more educational resources to share and follow. It seems like it is a great community to share ideas of how to reach students #educ582
@MrKaiser2592 A4: Not currently teaching, but in student teaching Geometry, I used programs on our smartboard to easily create shapes in lessons. I wish I would have learned more capabilities of the smart board and let the students use it too, because it had some awesome programs #educ582
@MrKaiser2592 A3: One of my favorite tools I've used is the Geometric Solids tool on https://t.co/XgAbCoHgu5 @NCTM . It allowed students to see some crazy 3D images and to manipulate them to be able to better count the edges, vertices, etc. to find patterns. #educ582
@MrKaiser2592 A2: I am not currently teaching, but the pandemic showed me how technology is so essential in our culture, not just something to use to make life easier. Not only is it essential, but kids need to know how to use it effectively. #educ582
@MrKaiser2592 A1: I have never used Twitter until last week, so it took some getting used to! Even just messing around on it for the past week though, I have seen how helpful it could be! So many education resources to follow! #educ582
