Currently reading a paper for my systematic review and a participant recalls being called a liar by a doctor after they were urgently referred due to extreme pain, because they ‘didn’t look like they were in pain’. (1/4)
Just to note, whilst the paper was published in 2024, I’m aware that these experiences could have been from many years before that. Sadly though, I still hear about similar experiences today 🤦🏼♀️ (4/4)
