Today I introduced 'secret student' to my year 1 class. The students loved engaging with the resource as it was a mystery. Also, it was a successful behaviour management strategy, as students were reminded that there would be no prize if they do not behave.

Professional learning is so important especially as a beginning teacher. As a beginning teacher I need to identify what areas or standards need assistance and act accordingly to enhance my own knowledge and teaching practices.
