The English version of my exclusive report from the cell where 37 men died in NSCDC detention has aired on BBC Focus on Africa TV.

Survivors told me about the horrific conditions they endured in that room, including how they struggled to survive amid extreme heat, dehydration and overcrowding.

I was able to access the detention centre and speak to one of the survivors about what happened inside.
