“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” James 5:16
I’ve spent 20 years in radio covering LSU. One irrefutable lesson I’ve learned is that despite scholarships, benefits and even NIL, these are still young people—most of whom will never play their sport professionally—trying their damn best to win.
I absolutely loved Jay Johnson’s comments on Jordan Thompson after LSU won the national championship.
It’s your time. All the early mornings, late nights, the bunt coverages, pfps, extra gassers, all the things you thought didn’t matter. They all count and it’s your time to cash in. Star in your own movie…
It’s your time.

An Ole Miss alum med student has fallen deathly ill and is stranded in an Italian hospital without proper care doing study abroad. If she doesn’t get back to the US, she may die. Who do we know in congress that can help? @tatereeves@MarshallRamsey@BennieGThompson@CongPalazzo
Jesus is not afraid of our crises. He always comes back when the doors are closed and when we doubt. He always comes back, not with powerful signs that would make us feel inadequate, but with his wounds, the signs of his love. #GospelOfTheDay Jn 20:19-31
