Hearing the same things about ED volumes...down as much as 50%. Raises question about whether people are using tools to better triage care or putting themselves at risk by avoiding necessary care
I have also seen anecdotal reports (and personal discussions with ED physicians) that MI and stroke ED visits and admissions are down. Seems that people may be avoiding care for serious issues so as to not go near a hospital.
