People are, generally, insatiable. Your lifestyle will expand to fill the amount of income you have if you're not disciplined.

$30k/m is a lot of money. But, if you've expanded your lifestyle to $35k/m, it'll be hard to feel satisfied.

Our ancestors ate red meat, but not nearly as much as you think. It simply wasn't that available.
