@deviledspamham@mavisclare@CindyKae1@victoriaregisk@KHNews@CalHealthline But they will match up as it becomes endemic. I don’t wear a mask in flu season though many people will still die. When the numbers are the same with COVID is that when people can quit caring about masks even though people will get exposed and die anyway.
@MissBabyTurtle@victoriaregisk@KHNews@CalHealthline It will be forever. Become yearly like the flu and still kill like the flu. So masks are permanent then? Bc why are you more comfortable if it’s not gonna all together.
@Carolchristof13@SusanSchutte2 Have you worked in an elementary school? The masks are scattered on school grounds when they did have to wear them and they were tossed on the floor daily to no fault of the staff. Just young children who didn’t use as surgeons would.
@cristo_monte@SusanSchutte2@GOP I can tell you this. Here in dfw Texas we just had a teacher die who was vaccinated and had her booster. I hate to hear this little girl died of course but to be honest these were the classmates she was sitting with daily and just walking down a hall with one wouldn’t be outcome
@saychowder @bobluvskristi@JZ_nm@GregAbbott_TX Yep I work in schools. Masks are thrown on the floor and chewed on. It did not look science based at all last year.
@CouncilTuckey @ABC Having watching close up it is impossible for me to feel they were what kept kids not ill. Especially given kids were going out with each other all the time for sleep overs and no masks.
@CouncilTuckey @ABC I’m a substitute teacher and was at our schools a lot this year (surprisingly never due to a covid situation) kids wore masks hanging down, put them in their mouth and chewed on them. Each day there were masks strewn on the school property. A whole lost and found of them.
@GarzillaX @sfchronicle You see perhaps one person a day in Texas wearing a mask. Numbers have not soared at all. Same when we went to Florida and were in crowded places. People are done being scared of you look at the majority.
