A thread 🧵
Drugs worth R1 Billion have been found at the border, from Malawians…But Ofcos “We Hate foreigners, hate people who helped us and are afraid of white people”
The Border Management Authority has just achieved what is likely the single biggest breakthrough against the drug trade in South African history, by intercepting a consignment at Beitbridge valued at nearly R1 billion. (You read that right).
Yesterday, an intelligence-driven operation coordinated out of our National Targeting Centre identified a truck travelling through Zimbabwe to Beitbridge. Upon arrival, the BMA was ready and waiting for it. The truck was intercepted and examined through the sophisticated truck scanner on site, with a hidden compartment discovered. Working over 8 hours, the BMA patiently dismantled the truck until a substance was discovered that was confirmed to be methaqualone, also known as ABBA, commonly used in the manufacture of mandrax.
The Hawks and K9 units were called in, with 713 000 grams of the substance seized at an estimated value of R998 200 000. Just under R1 billion.
Three Malawian suspects were arrested and taken to the Musina Police Station, with the Hawks to conduct further investigations.
This historic breakthrough in the fight against smuggling and drugs vividly demonstrates that the combination of intelligence-led investigations, digital transformation, and the commitment of the BMA is systematically rebuilding the rule of law at our borders! 🇿🇦
Stella Ndabeni and the ANC government are busy adjusting policies in ways that seem to benefit foreigners more than struggling South Africans.
The R5 million requirement for foreigners is no longer there.

Out of 300 Ghanaians flying out of SA, only 10 were legally in South Africa. That tells you everything you need to know about how careless the government is.
Today’s engagement were with the GOVERNMENT AGAIN!! At the Union Buildings where several Ministers were part of the meeting and Angie telling us she will send the SANDF on the 30th of June
The Second Engagement were with the private sector companies like McDonalds, Takealot, Uber etc. ,Durban Chamber, Department of Labour, Department of Home Affairs and EThekwini Mayor! We were talking about employment of foreign nationals and the risks of trade that come with the criminals who pretend to be refugees.
But I bet you there’s still some smart ppl that will say we are not addressing our concerns to the right people ‼️‼️‼️‼️😒🫠🫠

The EFF is committed in helping foreign nationals who are affected in Some Africa
Yes, via judicial review or mandamus proceedings in the High Court, we can challenge the government's failure to implement/enforce immigration laws. Standing and evidence of unlawfulness are key.
People underestimate how much luck contributes to success.
No matter how successful you are, there’s always someone who has worked 10x harder than you but they just didn’t have your luck.
My boss just found me crying in my office, he said why? Is there something wrong
