*National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Members at NDA Join One Million Tree Planting Campaign*

On July 12, 2024, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) participated in the One Million Tree Planting Campaign, an initiative spearheaded by the NDA Commandant, Major General JO Ochai.

The event, held at the NDA Corpers Lodge in Ribadu Cantonment, Kaduna, aimed to promote environmental sustainability and mitigate the effects of climate change. The NYSC members, along with the NDA Commandant and other Principal Staff Officers, planted trees and pledged their commitment to protecting the environment.

Major General Ochai emphasized the importance of tree planting in maintaining ecological balance and ensuring a healthy environment for future generations. He commended the NYSC members for their enthusiasm and dedication to the cause.

The One Million Tree Planting Campaign is a laudable initiative that aligns with the NDA's commitment to corporate social responsibility and community development. The event showcased the NYSC members' passion for environmental stewardship and their contribution to the nation's development.
