Springfield, Massachusetts has 503 registered day care centers. This is one SMALL city in western, Mass.
Are they even real? Do they really have kids registered?
@MassAGO@WCVB@7News@nickshirleyy@agenturban@mikeminoguema can someone please look into this as it’s 5x the state avg.
Massachusetts subsidizes daycare centers through direct child care financial assistance (vouchers) and operating grants (C3). Subsidies range from roughly $40 to $105+ per day per child, varying by the child's age, regional cost of living, and whether the care is center-based or in-home
Think about how many of YOUR tax dollars are being STOLEN to subsidize these day cares.
I don't usually talk about assets other than XRP. But I feel compelled to write this post. If you're reading this tweet, DO NOT buy SpaceX; wait until it goes public, corrects, and stabilizes.
You'll never make money by chasing the price or buying at peaks.
Be careful guys.
To everyone in Massachusetts who wonders who negotiates the ridiculous prices we pay for all these contracts?
Fall River Reporter dropped details from a public records request on the **Braga Bridge** lighting and safety upgrades contract (the $16.8 million one MassDOT approved with Coviello Electric & General). Buried in the bid tab: 400 day-time traffic cones for traffic management.
State engineers estimated $25 each ($10,000 total).
The contractor bid $3,500 per cone.
MassDOT approved the full $1.4 million.
Yes, you read that right. $3,500 per traffic cone. Regular orange cones you can buy online go for about $25 even in bulk.
The contractor later explained they were rolling in labor for a three-man crew doing nightly setup and removal (supposedly over $3,000 per shift). MassDOT questioned the price… then approved it anyway with no further response.
So here are my questions:
Why are we paying $3,500 for a traffic cone?
Who at MassDOT signed off on this?
And how many more “hidden” costs like this are in our infrastructure contracts?
Our roads and bridges need real fixes, not $1.4 million cone bills. And you wonder why they don’t have any state aid to send to cities and towns.
“We found 146,000 kids so far. Some of these kids claimed that they were raped over 600 times. I don't care who you are. If you can't stand for law enforcement to go find these kids, who are you?” @SecMullinDHS
🚨 WTF?! A USS Liberty survivor drops a massive bombshell.
He confirms they were threatened with prison or worse if they ever spoke about the Israeli attack.
Another veteran explicitly states "Israel owns us" after being ignored by Congress for 59 years. Total betrayal!
@Cmcdonough10605@_dogegod_ If Dogecoin matched Bitcoin's current ~$1.256T market cap with its ~154.6B circulating supply, DOGE would be ~$8.13.
That's one bold hypothetical target! 🚀
THIS IS HUGE FOR BITCOIN
Someone just bought a $4.2 million home using Bitcoin as collateral... without selling any Bitcoin. And it was backed by Fannie Mae.
While the timeline obsesses over short-term price action, Bitcoin is quietly moving from “store of value” into real collateral inside the $50 trillion US housing market.
Gonna hurt some feelings here, but.....Israel shot down the US Apache helicopter off the coast of Iran in order to justify a US military attack in response.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
