Self Reflection- Take a pause to reflect on your journey. It's not a competition with anyone but your own self. Celebrate the little victories and appreciate how far you have come from where you started. You have got this!
#boostyouth#IYD2022
You are not alone! Believe in yourself. You are here because you deserve to be here. Do not let fear get to you because there is so much more work to be done. You have the privilege of influence to inspire others, so use this privilege wisely. #boostyouth#IYD2022
Younger generations are great at #collaborating, creating networks and mobilising these networks to create change. This is a powerful lesson to learn from young activists and change makers.
#boostyouth#IYD2022
Risk Taking and Optimism- Younger generations are not afraid to ask questions, break barriers and rebuild broken systems. The older generation should allow themselves to be influenced by their positivity and willingness to work for a better tomorrow.

Older generation bring years of experience and knowledge. Young people can benefit greatly from their wisdom both personally and professionally. Learn from their struggles, hard-work, persistence and their mistake. Find your mentors and learn from them.#boostyouth#IYD2022
Reverse Mentorship. Creating safe spaces for youth to share their ideas. Recognising and appreciating their hardwork and efforts when required. Share your journey and wisdom with them. Judge them by their work not by their age #boostyouth#IYD2022

Do not be afraid to ask questions, seek help and learn from the experience of the older generation. Break the stereotypes and remain humble. You need to co-create the change with the older generation and for that you must build their trust too.

Organizations should have a mentality of building future leaders. Include them in strategic discussion and building plans. Create collaborative spaces where their diverse perspectives are heard and valued. Give them a seat at the table!
