My colleague at work is doing some user research with kids and we needed some visual aid to share with the kids. I've put together different scenarios using the Humaaans library and it was so much fun and easy. Thanks @pablostanley for making such an ace library!
I am very excited about teaching the next UX bootcamp at General Assembly!
If you are looking to learn about the basics of UX design, join me on the 25th of July.
Fun day of learning, not only for designers!

@markjenkins Design reviews have been done in different ways...Can be an image share in slack to prompt a conversation or we have a quick hangout to share what we did.
@markjenkins We use abstract but not in its full capacity. We usually pair a UX designer with a UI designer - when it comes to the devs, they pair themselves but we work together when they are implenting the work.
@markjenkins We just say goodbye at the end of the day in slack and a reminder to end the day. We also started saying good morning in slack! It basically feels like we are all in a virtual relationship together ๐
@markjenkins But it's not so much about quick chats than natural ways to collaborate. I'm working on a project with 4 teams and 4 different UXers. It was easy to share a sketch when in the office...
@markjenkins In reality it probably means we have to overshare more in messaging tools like slack and some times tone of voice gets lost and people get defensive
@markjenkins Yep, agenda really works.
Hmmm not really a quick chat but more collaboration is what I meant. So if I am working with a UI designer, we used to pair on stuff and now remotely is not so easy.
@markjenkins More meetings for sure, as you cant just go over someone desk to ask a question or have a quick chat. This is Def causing hangout burnout! Not sure how to deal with that yet
@markjenkins Making sure people close their laptops / log off at the end of the day. Not everyone has a dedicated office so it's important to end the day to enjoy after work.
We used to have a weekly drinking night that is now done on hangout.
